Mamarg

MAMARG group works under ITU Chemistry Department and have developed specialization about tetrapyrrole derivatives (phthalocyanines, porphyrazines, etc.), their design, synthesis, structural and physical characterization, and optical properties of the resulting entities. MAMARG group are also interested in biomedical and industrial applications of the materials prepared. The group has focused on synthesis of new coordination compounds having macrocyclic functions which will interact selectively with metal ions. The chief aim of supramolecular design is structural modification of molecular blocks which has been rendered specifically functional in order to obtain the desired molecule.
